Can I fund this from my NDIS Plan?
The NDIS Guide to Self Management states on Page 14 that participants self managing their NDIS plan can use their core funding flexibly to access capacity building support to self manage along with peer support events and memberships:
Self and Plan Managed participants may be able to use funding towards Parent Training, and this is a conversation you can have with your plan manager / Support Coordinator / Local Area Coordinator
There are several other line items and funding categories that may be suitable depending on your NDIS plan, goals and funded categories. As always, expenditure of NDIS funding should take into account your child’s unique support needs, goals and funding types.
